Terms of use

This questionnaire and the related App were developed with financial support from the EU Structural and Development Fund as well as from private sources. The Foundation FMC VIA-LR has editorial control over the questionnaire and the app and leads the overall MASK project.

The questionnaire was set up as a compromised profiling tool under the responsibility of the ARIA consortium. The questionnaire of the Twinning project and the “Allergy Diary App by MACVIA-ARIA” are based on previous recommendations and on the ARIA® guidelines (2015) with the permission of ARIA®. The ARIA® guidelines have been published in the peer-reviewed medical literature and have been reviewed and approved by medical experts worldwide. MACVIA and ARIA will be held harmless for any inappropriate use of this questionnaire and of this application. Neither Peercode, ASA nor MACVIA-ARIA, affiliates and/or respective employees or management, is liable for any damages, including, and without limitation, direct, indirect, consequential or incidental damages resulting from, or in connection with, any information, materials, qualifications or recommendations related to this questionnaire and app.

ASA/FMC VIA-LR are not liable for any damages resulting from the use of (or inability to use) this questionnaire, including damages caused by viruses or any incorrectness or incompleteness of the Information. ASA/EUFOREA/ FMC VIA-LR are also not liable for damages resulting from the use of electronic devices for communication with this questionnaire, including - but not limited to - damages resulting from failure or delay in delivery of electronic messages, interception or manipulation of electronic messages by third parties or by software / hardware used for electronic communications and transmission of viruses.

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France. The competent court in Montpellier shall settle all disputes arising in connection with these terms.

What information do we collect and how is the information used? The information collected consists only of the answers provided by the patients to the health care provider (HCP) during their visit. This information is used by the HCP only to help in the understanding of the disease (Allergic rhinitis).

Your rights In accordance with local law, you may at any time request access to the information we collect about you. You may also request that we amend, correct or delete your personal information. To do this, please contact Kyomed using the below details. You may also ask Kyomed to send your personal data.

Privacy of children ASA/ Kyomed / FMC VIA-LR do not knowingly collect or use any personal information from children (minors younger than 18 yrs). We do not knowingly allow children to communicate with us or use any of our services. This point may however be modified under the responsibility of your HCP along with the signed approval of the parents or legal representatives.

Updates ASA/ Kyomed/ FMC VIA-LR reserve the right to make changes and/or updates with respect to the information, products and services referred to in the questionnaire at any time without notice.

Security Protecting your privacy is important to you and to us. That is why our systems and programmes are adequately protected. We use management procedures to keep the information accurate, up-to-date and complete and to prevent access to your personal information by unauthorized persons from inside and outside our organization. This also includes - but is not limited to - encryption of connections and content.

Consent to the collection, processing and use of personal data The data are collected safely and stored on a secured server in France for a period of 15 years.

I agree that the data collected, including the sensitive data, as well as the data generated in the use of these data, can be processed and used to the extent described above, can be sold - once anonymized* - to pharmaceutical companies for commercial purposes, and/or can be sold to academic institutions for the purpose of research worldwide. Furthermore, I agree to the transfer of the data to different jurisdictions. *Through the questionnaire: any information related to “the date, place and HCP name” collected during the questionnaire process will be deleted. Through the App, any information related to the geolocation of the data collected will be post-processed using the appropriate method of k-anonymity as described in the international publication (in press).
